Lamb with Black Olive Pesto
I love the flavor of lamb. It is the red meat I cook most often. The bold flavor of lamb goes well with rich flavors like pesto. For this dish I made pesto with strongly flavored sun dried, oil cured olives. Their flavor is intense. I can only find them, imported from Italy, in an Italian grocery store down in the city. I also made my own fettucine noodles from scratch, for which I have a recipe on this web site. Feel free, however, to purchase the noodles and olives available in your area.
