Avocado, Cucumber and Lime Smoothie
Serves 1.

This is not a sweet smoothie. It tastes of fresh cucumber, cool and refreshing on warm summer day. If you are someone who loves to munch on raw cucumber — maybe you put a lot in your salads — this is the perfect smoothie for you.
Ingredients:
1 cup (130g) ice cubes
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ ripe avocado (30g), peeled
2 cups (240 g) chopped cucumber
1 teaspoon fresh lime zest
4 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Directions:
Add all ingredients to the Vitamix container in the order listed above. Select variable speed 1. Start the blender, slowly increase to its highest speed, and blend for 45 seconds.
If you have a conventional blender that might be damaged by ice, you can substitute ½ cup (120ml) cold water.
