Pork Spareribs Rub
Makes a lot, enough to share.
By Dennis W. Viau; modified from an internet recipe.
You can buy a pork rub in the grocery store. There are many recipes for making your own pork spareribs rub. This is a recipe I use. I enjoy the flavor.
Ingredients:
½ cup (60g) paprika
¼ cup (50g) salt
¼ cup (40g) celery salt
½ cup packed (90g) brown sugar (dark or light)
½ cup (80g) garlic powder
½ tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
½ tablespoon ground cumin
½ tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground mustard
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and blend well.
Transfer to one or more jars. Save some for your own cooking. Give some to a friend.
